***CANCELLED*** Movies Under the Stars – How To Train Your Dragon (2025)🐲
Dragon training cancelled!
Due to rain and flooding at Ashmore Village Park, Saturday night’s screening of How to Train Your Dragon (2025) has been cancelled.
Even Toothless needs a dry place to land!
We know this is disappointing, but the park is simply too wet to safely proceed.
Stay warm, stay dry, and keep your dragon saddles ready for the next adventure. ❤️

The City of Gold Coast Movies under the Stars program is free, family-friendly fun on offer from September 2025 through to June 2026 right across the city.
Gather your family and friends, pack a picnic or take advantage of delicious food options available in the local area.
- Event date: Saturday, 13 June 2026
- Location: Ashmore Village Park, Ashmore
- Event starts at 3.30pm with kids’ activities, face painting and with food trucks onsite.
- Then stay for the movie starting at 5.30pm!
Movie: How To Train Your Dragon (2025)
On the rugged isle of Berk, a Viking boy named Hiccup defies centuries of tradition by befriending a dragon named Toothless. However, when an ancient threat emerges that endangers both species, Hiccup’s friendship with Toothless becomes the key to forging a new future. Together, they must navigate the delicate path toward peace, soaring beyond the boundaries of their worlds and redefining what it means to be a hero and a leader.
